In a typical non contact coding machine, the variable information is printed on to the products on line during the production cycle or in extreme cases off line. Variable information could be Batch Number, Manufacturing date, expiry Date Company Logo, Bar codes etc.
This is possible to be done by CIJ ( Continuous Inkjet printers ) and DOD Drop on Demand ( Thermal Inkjet printers ). The recent trend has evolved around to using the Thermal Inkjet printers which provides many advantages over CIJ such as only print the ink that is actually used, NO spillage of ink during maintenance, lesser maintenance and over head costs.
The industrial ink cartridges have a series of tiny electrically heated chambers, in which pulses produce a steam bubble. This pushes the ink droplets through the nozzle and places the droplets precisely onto the print material. The contraction of the bubble ensures that within a 100 millionth of a second re-ink from the connected ink reservoir is pulled into the chambers and shot out.
What We Offer
We provide coding of products and packaging with different control units. Print heads for small high resolution coding, print heads for large coding, and industrial print heads are also now supported.
We offer Control systems from Standard, High Speed and Windows based systems – all variants with many options of combinations to solve any printing challenge at top quality: fast, contactless and on absorbent and non-absorbent materials.
High Speed Control systems - which are small and compact with many possibilities for interlinking. It prints up to 12.5 mm high on primary and secondary packaging – accurately and blindingly fast. With simultaneous 1:1 data transmission No batch processing or downloads necessary. It supports all conventional interfaces for communication with higher level data systems, such as Blue Tooth, TCP IP and USB.

Windows Based control system features simple operation via an integrated touch screen monitor which enables layout generation directly on the unit. Depending on the technology, product names and descriptions, quantity information, manufacturing and shelf life data, barcodes and data matrix codes and graphics can be printed with up to 200 mm high print. Equipped with latest generation PC boards, it is extremely fast and efficient. The large memory capacity enables generation and storage of numerous layouts and logos in central directories. The system’s ergonomic enclosure allows it to be easily integrated into existing production environments, as desktop or wall mounted units.

Standard Control system offers maximum flexibility and availability in production thanks to simple and fast operator guidance. The standard control system uses HP printing technology, for example, to print text, barcodes, data matrix codes and graphics on solid or corrugated cardboard cartons and trays at resolutions up to 600 dpi. With two print heads connected, the system prints on packaging at up to 25 mm (one-sided) and 12.5 mm (two-sided) font height. It also features automatic printing direction changeover, allowing time-saving coding of print text across the direction of travel (with a cross-travel, for instance, to alternate direction right to left and left to right).
